1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use local storage and session storage in your browser to remember preferences and improve performance. In this policy, “cookies” includes these similar technologies where relevant.

2. How Deltaxis Uses Cookies and Storage

We use cookies and browser storage to:

• keep you signed in to your account;
• remember your preferences (e.g. theme, chart settings);
• process payments securely via Stripe;
• ensure platform security and prevent abuse;
• understand how our marketing website is used (analytics), where enabled and with consent where required.

We do not use advertising, retargeting, or social media tracking cookies.

3. Essential Cookies and Storage (Required)

These are strictly necessary for the Platform to function. You cannot opt out of them while using the Services.

3.1 Authentication (app.deltaxis.com)

Authentication is handled by AWS Cognito. When you sign in, your session tokens (identity, access, and refresh tokens) are kept in your browser’s local storage under keys beginning with CognitoIdentityServiceProvider. — not in HTTP cookies. They are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to secure access to your account.

• Purpose: login, session management, security
• Duration: until you sign out or the tokens expire, as configured in Cognito
• Provider: Amazon Web Services (Frankfurt, EU)

Signing out removes these tokens from your device.

3.2 Browser storage for preferences and app state (app.deltaxis.com)

The application uses local storage (not HTTP cookies) to remember your settings and the state of the interface. No identifier stored this way is used for advertising or shared with third parties. It covers:

• Your cookie choice — deltaxis-cookie-consent stores whether you accepted or refused analytics, so we do not ask again on every visit;
• Display preferences — deltaxis-theme (light/dark), chart timeframe, active indicators, drawing colours, and screener column settings;
• Charts and favorites — saved drawings and favorite symbols (synced to your account when you are signed in, kept on your device otherwise);
• Performance — a cached copy of the indicator catalogue and its version, so the screener does not refetch it on every load;
• Notifications — whether you enabled or dismissed push notifications, and the last notification you opened;
• App installation — whether you installed the app or dismissed the install prompt, so we stop offering it;
• Onboarding and billing notices — whether you completed the introduction, saw interface hints, or were already told about a failed payment, so the same message is not repeated.

Clearing browser storage may reset these preferences and sign you out. Data linked to your account remains on our servers; see our Privacy Policy.

3.3 Payments (Stripe)

When you subscribe or manage billing, you are redirected to Stripe, which may set cookies necessary for payment processing and fraud prevention.

4. Analytics Cookies (Google Analytics 4 — Optional)

Our marketing website (deltaxis.com) uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, traffic sources, device type). Data is aggregated and used to improve our marketing and product decisions.

GA4 is provided by Google Ireland Limited (EEA users) / Google LLC (others). Data may be processed in the United States and other countries. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

GA4 is not essential. Where required by law (Switzerland nLPD, EU/UK GDPR), GA4 cookies are placed only after your consent via our cookie banner.

You can:

• refuse analytics via our cookie banner;
• change your choice at any time (re-open banner or clear cookies);
• install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

The application (app.deltaxis.com) uses a separate GA4 property from the marketing site, to understand how the product itself is used. There too, the Google script is loaded only after you accept analytics: if you refuse, or have not answered yet, no Google script is loaded and no analytics cookie is set. Your choice is stored on your device (see section 3.2) and can be changed at any time.

5. What We Do Not Use

• Advertising or retargeting cookies
• Social media tracking pixels
• Cross-context behavioural advertising
• Sale or sharing of cookie data for advertising

6. Managing Your Preferences

6.1 Cookie banner (deltaxis.com)

When you first visit our marketing website, you may see a cookie banner allowing you to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customize your choices.

6.2 Browser settings

You can block or delete cookies and clear local storage through your browser. Blocking or clearing the storage used for authentication will prevent you from signing in to the Platform.

Guides: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge all offer cookie controls in Privacy/Security settings.

6.3 Sign out and clear storage

Signing out clears session-related client data tied to your account on the device. You can also clear site data manually in your browser for app.deltaxis.com.

7. Impact of Disabling Cookies or Storage

• Authentication storage blocked: you cannot log in or use the Platform.
• Local storage cleared: theme, chart preferences, and cached data may reset.
• Analytics blocked: full Platform functionality is maintained; we lose aggregated usage insights on the marketing site.

We respect your choices and will not re-enable non-essential cookies without consent where required by law.

8. Retention

• Session cookies: deleted when you close your browser.
• Authentication tokens (local storage): until they expire or you sign out, as configured in AWS Cognito.
• Local storage: until you clear it (account-linked data may persist on our servers).
• Analytics cookies: as defined by the analytics provider (e.g. up to 2 years for _ga), if enabled.

9. Third Parties and International Transfers

Cookie-related data may be processed by service providers outside Switzerland, including AWS (EU — Frankfurt), Stripe (EU/US), and, where you have consented to analytics, Google (US) for marketing analytics. Web fonts are served from our own infrastructure and are not requested from third-party font CDNs. See our Privacy Policy for transfer safeguards.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location (Switzerland, EEA, UK, US states, etc.), you may have rights to know what data is collected via cookies, object to non-essential processing, and withdraw consent. Contact contact@deltaxis.com from your registered email.

11. Do Not Track (DNT)

There is no industry standard for responding to DNT browser signals. We do not respond to DNT signals but honour preferences set through our cookie banner and your browser settings.

12. Children

The Services are intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors through cookies or other means.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date and, where required, a notice on the Platform.
